Locked Figures and Reopening a Report
Once a report is approved, submitted or closed, the indicator figures for its period are locked so that the approved numbers do not change under it.
What you will see
- On the report's Inputs → Indicators page, a notice: "This report's figures are locked." The fields are read-only.
- If you try to save a value anyway, the message says what to do: reopen the report to correct them.
Which reports are locked
| Report status | Figures |
|---|---|
| Not started, in progress, drafted, under review | Open for editing |
| Approved, submitted, closed | Locked |
How to correct a locked figure
- Open the report and open the report menu and choose Reopen for changes.
- Say why you are reopening it. The reason is kept in the audit trail, with who reopened it and the approval it replaces.
- Correct the figure, then approve the report again.
Reopening returns the report to draft, so it must be approved again.
