Every plan includes the full reporting workflow: projects, donor templates, logframes and indicators, evidence library, activity capture, AI-assisted drafting with the report editor, compliance checklist, review and approval, and exports. Plans differ in capacity, not in core features. Archived projects are unlimited on every plan.
Who each plan is for
- Starter – an individual consultant or a small NGO running its first funded project.
- Team – a growing NGO reporting on a handful of grants with a small team.
- Growth – organisations with several funders and heavy reporting volume, or that want to use their own AI provider.
- Enterprise – INGOs, research institutions and multi-country programmes needing custom limits, data residency, SSO-style requirements and an SLA.
Storage: what counts
- Google Drive (link-first) – files stay in your own Drive and do not count toward your quota.
- DonorDesk-managed uploads – files uploaded directly count toward your storage limit.
AI report drafts
A successful AI draft uses one credit. Fallback (non-AI) output is never billed and failed runs release the credit. Regenerating one section in the editor does not use a credit. Credits reset monthly. With your own AI provider (Growth/Enterprise) no DonorDesk credits are used. Need more? Buy a top-up pack on Team or Growth.
Nonprofit discount
Verified nonprofits get 40% off paid plans. Submit your registration details in Settings → Billing; the team reviews the request and emails you when it is approved.
How billing works
- You sign up and start on the free Starter plan.
- When you need more capacity, open Settings → Billing (Admins only), or choose a plan on the Pricing page.
- Pick Team or Growth and monthly or annual billing (annual = two months free).
- Complete secure checkout, powered by Creem, our Merchant of Record. Tax is calculated at checkout.
- Your plan updates once the subscription is confirmed.
- To cancel, downgrade or update your card, use Manage subscription in Billing. Changes apply at the end of the billing period, and your data is always kept.
DonorDesk does not currently offer a standard free trial.
