How to Archive a Project

Archive completed or paused projects.

Use Projects → your project → Settings. Editing project settings requires Admin or Project Manager rights.

Mark a project completed

Mark completed moves the project to Completed. It prevents new reporting periods but keeps everything visible. Use it when the grant has ended.

Pause a project

Set the status to Paused to suppress reporting activity temporarily. Set it back to Active to resume.

Archive a project

Archive project hides the project from active lists.

  • The project becomes read-only.
  • It no longer counts against your plan's active project limit.
  • Nothing is deleted. Evidence, reports and the audit trail remain and can be exported.
  • Files in your Google Drive folder are left in place.

Restore

Open the archived project's Settings and click Restore project to make it editable again. Restoring counts toward your active project limit, so free a slot first if you are at the limit.

Deleting

Regular projects cannot be deleted from the app; archive them instead. Only the Academy demo project can be deleted (from its own banner or the Academy card). If you need something permanently removed, contact support@donordesk.online.
