How to Require Two-Step Sign-In for Everyone

Administrators can require two-step sign-in organisation-wide.

For administrators. Two-step sign-in adds a code from an authenticator app after the password.

Before you require it

Turn on two-step sign-in for your own account first, under Settings → Security (the Two-step sign-in panel). DonorDesk will not let you require it otherwise, so you cannot lock yourself out.

Require it

  1. Open Settings → Security and choose the day it starts: From now, In a week, In two weeks or In a month.
  2. Choose Require it. The page shows how many people have not set it up yet.

Until the day, people see a reminder. From the day, a person without two-step sign-in can only set it up, then sign in again with a code. Outside partners are included.

Under single sign-on, your identity provider manages two-step sign-in and this option is not offered.

Make it optional again

Choose Make it optional again. This is audited.
