How to Use the Academy Tour

DonorDesk Academy teaches the real reporting workflow using a sample project, so you can learn without touching live data.

Take the tour

• Not signed up yet? The public product tour shows real portal screenshots, step by step, with no account needed.
• In your workspace: choose Take the product tour on Home or the setup page, or use the Academy button in the top bar. It takes about 10–15 minutes. You can leave and Resume the product tour later; progress is remembered.

The tour has ten steps: your sample project, project setup checklist, donor template, logframe and indicators, evidence library, reporting periods, AI-assisted draft, review and refine, compliance checklist and export.

The demo project

Starting the tour creates a demo project in your workspace, a complete sample with a logframe, indicators, a reviewed template and a reporting profile.

• It is clearly marked Demo.
• It does not count toward your active project limit and uses no AI credits. The AI draft step shows pre-generated sample content.
• You can create it again, and delete it at any time from its banner. Deleting removes the demo project and everything in it.
